At times a corporate client will come to us and say they want to market their product in an experiential way, but they don’t have a clear idea of what’s involved with that. They may know they want to take their message to a certain place and a certain group, but not exactly sure how to do this, so they ask us for our recommendations. The first thing we tell them is that whatever the overall idea or concept, make sure the experience they create has some fun, interactive elements.
At JKS we get the opportunity to do a lot of cool things, and one of the coolest is helping make TV commercials and movies seen by millions of people. Here’s something you probably never really thought about – almost everything you see in commercials and movies is a prop, either rented for the production or, in some cases, created just for the production. And when the people who make those commercials and movies in this area need those props, or what they call assets, they often get them from JKS.
At JKS Incorporated our business is helping corporate sponsors create and stage large, interactive displays and promotions, usually at sports venues like NASCAR races, PGA tournaments or football games, but also at street fairs or retail locations or virtually anywhere else. To accomplish this, we’ve got to come up with interesting creative concepts and interactive games that will draw people to these displays and create memorable experiences. Working with large corporations and their marketing agencies to conceive and produce innovative and energizing displays, we need to tap into the technologies that younger people are using, because those are the fans our clients usually want to attract. So, to attract new clients, we need to demonstrate that we know and understand the technology and trends out there and can incorporate them into what we do.
